Anne Abbenes is a Financial Psychologist and Certified Financial Behavior Specialist. She is Europe’s pioneer in this field in which she functions as a researcher, educator/coach & advisor.
Anne’s mission is to increase worlds Financial Health & (mental) Wellbeing and help people to improve their (clients) relationship with money, each other, their clients, co-workers and employees.
Anne is not only a researcher. Like no one else she’s able to translate research findings into practice based interventions and evidence based tools. These easy to implement tools help clients achieve financial health, financial self-sufficiency and financial well- being from their own autonomy
No Conflict or life event without money. As a mediator, advisor, coach and change manager Anne guides business transfers, organizational changes, divorce and business affairs. She also has extensive experience as a Peer Reviewer, Peer Counselor and coach for professionals in: financial services, mental health care and legal services. Anne also develops & provides coaching programs, psychosocial support and team building in business and private sector, as well for individuals and groups.
Anne teaches post-doctoral students and professionals in various fields. (a.o. financial, mental health & law professionals). Anne is lecturer at several universities, also the UCLL ( University of Leuven Limburg associatie Catholic University Leuven) where she teaches Behavioral Finance & Financial Psychology. She also shares her expertise in several magazines and in the section Money, Work & Law at Max Vandaag (MAX broadcast Network).
She educates and advises various professionals, individuals, groups, businesses and governments. Anne is also International Registered Court Mediator, Master of Financial Planning, Certified Master Negotiator and President & co founder of the Financial Psychology Institute Europe®. (FPIE)
