ADR Register launches ADR Platform
PRESS RELEASE OCTOBER 2, 2018 |
ADR REGISTER LAUNCHES ADR PLATFORM |
ADR PLATFORM STARTS JANUARY 1, 2019 |
PROF. DR. J.B.F. (HANS) MULDER WILL BECOME THE CHAIRMAN |
Foundation ADR Platform is a new initiative of ADR Register. ADR Platform starts per January 1, 2019, is the independent international complaint handling body for consumers, companies, organizations, professional groups and branches, governments, offers professional advice, conflict coaching and handling of complaints & disputes. |
ADR Platform implements Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) techniques and procedures. The actual handling of the disputes and conflicts is based on binding advice, arbitration, mediation and negotiation. ADR Platform files a request to get accredited as ‘ODR Body’ as mentioned in the ADR directive 2013/11/EU and ODR directive 2013/525/EU. |
ADR Platform offers tailormade handling by dedicated ‘chambers’. Each individual chamber is connected to carefully identified professional groups, branches, organizations or governments. |
The differentiating element to other bodies is the sole power of authority of each chamber. The chambers organize their rules and processes by the culture, insights and expectations of the connected group. All this ensures the chambers deliver complaint/conflict handling that meets the specific character of the groups, their clients and stakeholders. |
Unique of every chamber is that they are exclusively manned by educated and certified professionals. ADR Platform does not limit itself to the use of professionals that are certified by ADR Register. Professionals from other bodies, registers or accreditation organizations can also become active in ADR Platform. This will ensure that every complaint, dispute or conflict is handled in a manner that is reflective of its nature and subject-matter and that the correct professional with the appropriate knowledge will guide the parties to an appropriate solution or offer a (binding) verdict. |
Mr. Prof. Dr. J.B.F. (Hans) Mulder will become the chairman of ADR Platform. Hans Mulder has received his PHD in ICT from Delft University of Technology and is professor for the Antwerp Management School of the University of Antwerp and lecturer at the Dutch Police Academy. Hans is an expert in both ICT and Conflict management and works in both fields. |
ADR Register supports and facilitates ADR Platform in its logistics and organizational aspects. ADR Register certifies arbitrators, conflict coaches, mediators and negotiators according to the international ISO quality criteria. ADR Register is 100% independent and operates internationally. In Belgium and Netherlands, ADR Register has approx. 900 certified practitioners. |
